Final building permit granted for Cross Point II
Mermaid Properties has been issued its final building permit for the second phase of the Cross Point project in Łódź, winner of the 2011 Eurobuild Awards for The Best Office in Poland and the Platinum Drill Award for the best Reconstruction and Modernisation project in Poland.
Cross Point II will have an area of more than 6,000 sqm and Mermaid Properties expects to start construction as soon as possible. Pace of construction relies on confirmed occupancy of 40 to 50% of the new space and negotiations with possible tenants are already underway.
The first phase of Cross Point was completed in 2010 including tenants such as Nordea Bank AB, Bankowy Fundusz Leasingowy, Raffeisen, Konica Minolta and the Łódź's branches of Ernst & Young and television channel TVN.

The global fund was established in December 2007. The fund has invested in Brazil and Poland and continued to show strong performance in 2011.
