Martin Bellamy
Martin founded Salamanca in 2002 following a career in the British Army, where he served as an officer for 10 years. Since Salamanca's creation, Martin has overseen the growth of the Group and has led many of the Group’s transactions. Martin sits on the board of Salamanca Group Holdings and holds board positions in a number of Salamanca’s subsidiary and related companies. He is also President of Marina Port Vell S.A (Spain) and sits on the board of Ecocil Incorporações, a leading Brazilian real estate developer and Casa Minerals, a pan-African, gold exploration company. Martin attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and has an MBA from Reading University. In 1996 Martin rowed across the Atlantic Ocean and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
Uri Nachoom
Uri has been an active real estate investor for over 30 years with vast experience in the retail, residential and office markets, building up a substantial portfolio of assets over this time. His experience spans the UK, Europe, China, Brazil and the Middle East. Uri sits on the board of Salamanca Group Holdings, Ecocil Incorporações and Marina Port Vell and is an active member of the Young Presidents Organisation.
Catherine Gillibrand
Catherine has responsibility for communications & marketing, HR and the corporate activities of the Group. She is involved with the Group's joint venture and principal investment activities and her role includes the development of the vision, long term strategy and the implementation of company policies. Catherine sits on the board of Salamanca Capital Investments Ltd (UK) and Marina Port Vell S.A (Spain). She has a real estate background and, as one of the original members of Salamanca, was involved in the set-up of the businesses as well as sourcing, negotiating and structuring investment opportunities. Prior to joining Salamanca, Catherine had 13 years commercial, residential and hotel property experience with Colliers International and has a Bachelor of Property from Auckland University.
ShaRon Kedar
ShaRon is responsible for deal sourcing and company expansion, and has 10 years of real estate, corporate finance and industry experience working at Numis (previously RZH) and then with SRK Ventures at which ShaRon was managing director and co-founder. Having worked in Hong Kong, China and the UK, ShaRon has substantial international business experience. He studied Chinese and Law at SOAS.

Rupert joined Salamanca Capital Investments (SCI) in 2005 after leaving Fleming Family and Partners (FF&P). At FF&P, Rupert worked for the EMEA hedge fund and helped run FCM Salamanca - the joint venture partnership with SCI. Rupert is a partner of SCI, and initially had responsibility for co-managing the European Investments. He then set up SCI's Brazilian venture in 2007 and has co-led a number of large transactions in both the advisory and private equity space in Brazil, where SCI has invested over USD100m in equity. Rupert now holds board positions at Ecocil Incorporações, one of NE Brazil's largest privately owned real estate development companies and SCI in Brazil. Rupert is an active member of ABVCAP, the Brazilian association of private equity and previously held a board position at the English Premier League Football Club, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC. He has an MA (Hons) in Economic and Political Geography from Edinburgh University.
John Maiden
John joined Salamanca in 2006 and as Group Finance Director oversees the overall group financial functions and assists on various deal related issues. John joined Salamanca from a pan-European private equity firm where he was the Group Financial Controller with prior experience as the Finance Director of a successful UK Telecoms start-up company. John is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Paul Lowndes
Paul has extensive international experience in delivering high value property and infrastructure engineering programs. He joined Salamanca in November 2006 as Technical Services Director and is closely involved in vetting and monitoring aspects of development projects, particularly regarding construction time, cost and quality. Paul is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and has worked in private practice as a project director, and has also directed construction and facilities management companies. Previous to joining Salamanca Paul was a Director at First Engineering Holdings Ltd, where he oversaw a number of influential rail and engineering projects, a General Manager at Gammon in charge of the Philippines division and a director at WTP where he oversaw major Real Estate developments in various locations in Far East Asia.
Nikos Koulouras
Nikos joined Salamanca Capital Investments in 2008 and is responsible for the management of the Group's European Real Estate business. He previously worked in the origination team in Merrill Lynch's commercial real estate group covering Europe. A trained architect, Nikos spent the early part of his career designing large-scale residential and commercial developments in Australia and Greece. Following which he moved on to real estate development and investment in Greece and SE Europe. Nikos has an Architecture degree (Hons) from RMIT University in Melbourne and an MBA (Hons) from Columbia University in New York.
Gaelle Cassini
Gaelle has seven years real estate and investment experience having joined Salamanca Capital Investments from Axa Real Estate Investment Managers where she worked on one of their Pan European Investment Funds. She previously managed a portfolio of CMBS loans at Barclays Capital and worked in Paris for a real estate consultancy company. She holds an MA in Banking and Finance and a Certificate in Securities and Financial Derivatives.
Marta Plowucha
Marta joined Salamanca Capital Investments in 2007 and is responsible for the day to day group finance functions, preparing Management Accounts, VAT Returns and managing cash. Prior to joining Salamanca Capital Investments, she gained experience working as Accounts Manager for an international retail company. Marta is ACCA qualified and graduated from the Technical University of Lodz in 2003 with a Master's and Engineer's Degree in applied mathematics, specialising in mathematics for the financial and insurance industries.
Nora Albertini
Nora joined Salamanca Capital Investments in September 2010 as Office Manager and PA to the CEO Martin Bellamy. Nora previously worked as a Legal PA and as a Marketing and Communications PA at an international law firm and has eight years experience in the organisation and management of events, project management and general administration. Nora has a Degree in English and Russian from the "Universita' degli Studi di Milano".
Rosanna Lockwood
Rosanna joined Salamanca Capital Investments in 2009. As part of the operations team, Rosanna provides support on a variety of key Group operational matters as well as individual project and deal work. Prior to Salamanca Capital Investments, Rosanna was an analyst at Cubitt Consulting, a financial communications consultancy and gained experience in client relations and the organisation and management of events in the Royal Box and clubhouse at Guards Polo Club in Windsor and in the day-to-day running of Petit St Vincent, a privately owned island in St Vincent and the Grenadines. Rosanna graduated from Royal Holloway University with Joint Honours in English Literature and Drama in 2009 and holds post-graduate certificates in securities and investments and UK financial regulation from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.
Dominique Irvine

Dominique joined Salamanca Capital Investments in October 2010 in the London office after completing a BSc in Geography with Continental Study at the University of Bristol. Dominique is involved in the Group's marketing and communications in addition to providing administrative support. As a geographer she is a keen advocate for green activities and assists the investment team with research on green investment opportunities. Dominique is a keen traveller and as part of her degree, she spent a year in France studying in Grenoble and working in Beziers. Dominique is a member of the Royal Geographical Society.
Georgina Law
Georgina joined Salamanca Capital Investments in May 2011 as Operations and Compliance Administrator in the London office. Previously she worked in Operations at a social media and online marketing agency and prior to that interned at SG Hambros private bank. Georgina holds the CISI diploma in Investment Compliance and has a B.A. Joint Honours degree in English and Politics from the Newcastle University.
Joanna Brown
Joanna joined Salamanca Capital Investments in May 2011 in the London office as PA to Uri Nachoom and Rupert Hayward and also offers administrative support to the office as and when required. She has previously worked as a PA in both Investment and PR Companies in London at CEO and Director level and has a BA Honours Degree in Spanish Studies and Sociology from Oxford Brookes University. Joanna is fluent in Spanish and spent a year studying in Pamplona as part of her degree.
Sandra Vega
Sandra recently joined Salamanca Capital Investments in August 2011 as Second Floor Manager and Chief Receptionist. She has previously worked as a coordinator for various international law firms in London as well as being a PA for the Culture and Press Department of an important diplomatic mission. Sandra has vast experience in successfully managing events, projects and general administration. In addition to her strong administrative skills, she is also fluent in Spanish; and is currently undertaking a CIPD Human resources course. Sandra possesses an extensive international working experience and background allowing her to competently deliver results within a larger professional scope.

Renato is the Managing Director of Salamanca Capital Investments Brazil. He is Chairman of the Board of Ecocil Incorporações, one of the most prominent real estate developers in the Northeast of Brazil. Renato has previously enjoyed a successful investment and M&A consultancy career at McKinsey & Company, São Paulo office, and at RGarcia Consultoria in Natal. He has also held a series of government positions as the Secretary of State for Tourism and as Deputy-Secretary of State for Economic Development for Rio Grande do Norte, in the Northeast of Brazil. Alongside these executive roles, Renato has sat either Chairman (C) or Vice-Chairman (VC) of the Board in a variety of institutions: AGN - RN State Development Bank (VC), PotyGás - Natural Gas Distribution Company (VC), RN State Council for Tourism Development (C), RN State Council for Science and Technology Development (VC), SEBRAE - RN (Board Member). Renato has a degree in Business from the UFRN (Brazil) and an MBA from Texas A&M University and WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management (Germany).

Ricardo joined RGarcia
Consultoria, a consulting and corporate finance firm, in 2008 as
Director of Operations. Previously he spent over three and half years
working with multinational companies including JBS SA (the largest
beef packer in the world) within the operations division, delivering
goods and service to clients in North and South America. Ricardo lived
in the USA for over 10 years where he received an MBA from Texas
A&M University and a bachelor in Economics from The University of
Texas at Austin.
Ranyeri Xavier
Prior to his role at Salamanca Capital Investments Brazil, Ranyeri was a Partner and consultant at RGarcia Consultoria, a consulting and corporate finance firm, for more than 10 years working as business senior analyst (valuations, M&A deals and negotiations). At Salamanca Brazil Ranyeri is the responsible for the feasibilities analysis of the new deals, including its business structure analysis, as well as the management and control of the financials and accounts of the existing deals/investment and the Brazilian office. He holds two Specialist Degrees, one in Accountancy Management and another in Corporate Finance from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte as well as an extension course in Advanced in Corporate Finance from London School of Economics (LSE) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Universidade Potiguar (UnP).

Louise joined Salamanca Capital Investments Brazil in 2010 and as an Executive
Assistant, she is responsible for managing the directors agenda, and
day-to-day operations in the office. Prior to joining the company,
Louise held managerial and team leader positions in a variety of sectors
for high profile companies including H.Stern and Livraria Nobel. Louise
holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the Universidade Potiguar
(UnP) in Natal.

Marcus is responsible for overseeing Salamanca Capital Investments' operations in Poland, including deal sourcing, deal delivery and contact building. He has previously spent 5 years running a consultancy business for clients involved in retail, commercial and residential property management & investment and 3 years in business development in Poland for UK clients. He also has experience as the Development Director with Earls Court Group.
Monika Kaminska
Monika joined Salamanca Capital Investments in September 2006 and is responsible for managing the operations in the Warsaw office. Prior to joining Salamanca Capital Investments, Monika gained experience managing administration in various business sectors including: banking, healthcare, gas & oil and software companies and worked as a property and marketing manager for a private villa resort in Greece. She completed a Masters Degree and MBA (Hons) in Strategic Management and holds a Bachelor Degree in Marketing & Management from The Polish Open University and Oxford Brookes University.

Prior to joining Salamanca Capital Investments Motti was the Finance Director of a London-based property development group. Motti is a Canadian Certified General Accountant (CGA) and holds an MBA from RSM Erasmus University, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Gabi joined Salamanca Capital Investments in 2006 and is responsible for the day-to-day operations in the Romanian office. Gabi previously worked for 7 years as an Executive PA, Internal Auditor and a Quality Management Officer for a multinational company. Gabi possesses extensive experience in the organisation and management of administrative & logistical issues. She graduated from the Polytechnic University in Bucharest in 1996 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Dorin Caplea

Dorin joined Salamanca Romania in March 2007 as assistant to the office manager. Prior to joining Salamanca, Dorin worked for seven years in distribution and logistics across Greece and Romania for a multinational pharmaceutical distribution company. Dorin holds a degree in Economics from Dimitrie Cantemir University in Bucharest.

Global Property Fund
The global fund was established in December 2007. The fund has invested in Brazil and Poland and continued to show strong performance in 2011.
